Logging in

Vinstra Flow is a browser application. You sign in with an email address and a password that an administrator has set up for you.

Sign in

1. Open the address your administrator gave you. For most factories that is https://app.vinstraflow.com.
2. If you are not signed in already you land on the login screen. If you are, you go straight to the dashboard.
3. Enter your email address and password.
4. Tick Remember me if this is your own machine. Leave it clear on a shared machine on the factory floor.
5. Select Login.

You land on the dashboard. What you can see from there depends on the permissions attached to your role, so two people signing in on the same machine will not see the same menu.

There is no self signup

You cannot create your own account. The application has a login screen and nothing else in that area: no register form, no invite link and no password self service. Accounts are created by someone with access to Config, Users. See Users and roles.

If you need an account, ask whoever administers Vinstra Flow at your company to add you.

If you cannot get in

The password is wrong. There is no self service reset. An administrator has to open your user record in Config, Users and set a new password.

You sign in but the menu is nearly empty. You are signed in correctly but your role has few permissions. That is a permissions question, not a login one. See Users and roles.

You get signed out while working. Sessions end when the token expires or when it is invalidated on the server. Sign in again. If it keeps happening after a few minutes of normal use, tell your administrator, because that points at a server side problem rather than anything you did.
