Vinstra Flow docs

This is the user guide for Vinstra Flow, the platform for window and door manufacturers. It covers the screens you actually see when you log in, from setting up your profile systems through to raising an invoice.

Everything here was written by reading the application. Where a screen does not exist yet, this guide says so rather than describing something you cannot find.

Where to start

If you are setting the platform up for the first time, work through Getting started in order. The pages build on each other: users and roles come before anything else, and profile systems and pricing have to be loaded before a quotation will produce sensible numbers.

If the platform is already running and you just want to do one job, go straight to the page you need:

A note on screenshots

Every image in this guide is a labelled placeholder. The application needs a running Postgres database and seeded data to start, and that was not available when these pages were written, so no real screen could be captured. Each placeholder names the screen and the route it sits on, so replacing it later is a matter of dropping a real capture into docs/public/images/ under the same file name. The words around each image describe the real screen and do not depend on the picture.
